1. Sign in to Open Machine

Use GitHub to establish your identity. This sign-in does not connect repositories or import provider credentials.

2. Pair your computer

Start the Open Machine connector on the device running Core. Open its pairing link, compare the fingerprint, and confirm the account on your computer.

The current preview uses the connector’s guided setup. Check installer availability before starting on a new computer.

3. Connect your ChatGPT client

When the OM plugin is available in your ChatGPT workspace, install it and choose Connect. Approve read access, then select your paired device in the conversation. If you already have preview access, use the connection instructions supplied with that access.

Keep the device awake and its Open Machine connection running. Requests made while it is offline will not run later.
